Greg Spears

Greg Spears has played the String Bass for the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra since 1994. He received a music performance degree (Bass) from The University of Tulsa and has played with the Signature Symphony and Bartlesville Symphony since 1994 and for the Tulsa Ballet Orchestra from 1996 to 2006.  Greg also plays the electric bass and sings for the regional band Something Steel that specializes in Island Music.

Greg says, “I love the variety of programs and music and the friendships that I have developed over the years.  Plus Bartlesville is my hometown! It has great music at a very good price.” His favorite orchestral pieces include anything Mozart or Dvorak.
