In-School

The Bartlesville Symphony continues to grow in its interaction with our local schools.

In-school visits, masterclasses, performances, and demonstrations by some of our wonderful guest soloists have made a wonderful impact on our students. Additionally, members of the orchestra enjoy volunteering to visit classrooms to discuss aspects of their instruments and work as orchestra musicians.

Our conductor periodically assists with secondary ensembles, coaching chamber music and serving as clinician with school orchestras in preparation for contests and performances.

Our Education Committee, comprised of BSO board members and local educators, continues to develop new and innovative ideas for encouraging interaction between students and the symphony, both in-school and in-concert.
